Ken Alley is Suncor's senior vice president and chief financial officer, a position he has held since July 2003.
In this role, Ken directs Suncor's financial operations, including investor relations and treasury, and guides the company's sustainable development initiatives and information technology strategies and services. As chief financial officer, Ken plays a key role in ensuring Suncor has the financial strength necessary to support the company's significant growth strategy.
Ken joined Suncor in 1984, holding a number of audit, finance and planning positions until he became corporate treasurer in 1995. He was appointed Suncor's vice president, finance in January 2000.
A chartered accountant, Ken holds bachelor of arts, bachelor of education, and master's of arts degrees.
Ken and his wife have two sons.
