Ken Best is vice president and chief accounting officer of Metavante Corporation, a position to which he was appointed in August 2007. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of Metavante’s various financial accounting and reporting operations. He also oversees the company’s accounting policy setting process.Best joined the company in 1999 as a manager in the financial accounting department and throughout his tenure has held other management positions in the treasury and tax areas of Metavante’s finance department. Prior to joining Metavante, Best spent seven years with accounting firm Arthur Andersen, where he was a manager in the audit and business advisory division. Best is a certified public accountant (CPA) and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs. |
