Ken Hicks, B.Sc. (Honors), P.Geo, is President-Elect and Vice President of Exploration for Argentex. He has successfully directed the company's exploration programs in Argentina since March 2004. Since graduation in 1982, Mr. Hicks has worked extensively throughout North and South America for major mining companies such as Falconbridge Limited and mid tier Cu-Au producers such as Imperial Metals Corporation.
Among his credits, Mr. Hicks was directly involved in the discovery of the 5034 diamondiferous kimberlite for Mountain Province Diamonds in the NWT, Canada. DeBeers Canada has a joint venture with the company and is currently undertaking a feasibility study on the 5034 pipe.
Mr. Hicks has undertaken extensive work in South America, specifically Argentina in which he has consulted for a host of junior companies.
Mr. Hicks has successfully directed multi-million dollar exploration programs and in 2001 founded Frontera Geological Services Ltd. which provides consulting services worldwide. He is a registered member of the British Columbia Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists. |
