Kenneth Powell is a resident partner in Rawle & Henderson's Media office and focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, health care law and general liability. Mr. Powell graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1982 and is a 1985 graduate of Delaware Law School. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Mr. Powell has substantial trial experience in medical malpractice, professional liability and general defense matters. In the medical malpractice area, he has successfully defended hospitals, physicians, nurses, physician assistants and dentists. He has lectured for professional groups on topics in health care law, including peer review, reporting requirements and the law as it impacts mental health care providers. Mr. Powell is very active in the American Inns of Court Foundation, and he served as the 2004-2005 Treasurer of the Guy G. deFuria American Inn of Court in Media. Mr. Powell has served as the editor in chief for Rawle's medical malpractice newsletter, Vital Signs, since its inception. |
