Mr. Watt's practice focuses upon the areas of corporate and general business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, banking, securities and taxation. Mr. Watt is also a Certified Public Accountant, and in his legal practice he draws upon his blended experience to review, analyze and structure various business proposals, and also to provide effective and efficient resolution of legal issues and other matters confronting all types of business entities. Mr. Watt joined the firm in 2001. Prior to that, he served as corporate counsel to Mastermind Internet Services and to United Video Satellite Group (now known as TV Guide-Gemstar International). He is a member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations. Mr. Watt received his J.D. in 1993 from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he was a senior staff member of the Tulsa Law Journal, in which he also had an article published. He was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Taxation of Corporations and Shareholders, and a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. In 1987, he received his B.S.B.A. with an emphasis in accounting from Washington University in St. Louis. |
