Kenneth B. Silveira, a resident of Campbell, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Until November of 2000, Ken was an Executive Vice President and founding officer of Heritage Commerce Corp in San Jose. At Heritage Ken was responsible for company's e-Banking strategies, which included industry-leading use of online banking systems and innovative programs like NextCard and CobaltCard. He was also responsible for management of the company's information systems and centralized operations functions, which served banking offices in eight cities in Northern California. Ken also founded Heritage's finance department and served as the company's first finance officer.
Prior to joining Heritage in 1993, Ken was a Vice President with Bank of America. Ken spent over twenty-five years with B of A where he held management positions of increasing responsibilities in retail banking, operations research, and finance. His responsibilities included implementation of B of A's first product profitability system, development of management accounting and transfer-pricing systems, and oversight of the pricing of deposit products and services. |
