Kendra M. Allaband is a senior associate with the firm, concentrating her practice in labor and employment law in industries such as health care, telecommunications, parking and food service. Kendra represents employers in state and federal court litigation, including causes of action brought under the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, ERISA, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Illinois Human Rights Act, and state and federal wage and hour laws. Additionally, she negotiates collective bargaining agreements, advises on labor relations and defends clients before the National Labor Relations Board and at labor arbitrations.
Kendra also regularly counsels clients on day-to-day matters relating to discipline, discharge, leave requests, workplace violence, sexual harassment, wage and hour matters and requests for accommodations.
Kendra graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago where she double majored in political science and French and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Kendra received her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and served on the Public Interest Law Reporter. |
