Ken Pereira is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Automation, Inc. (HAI). Ken grew HAI from a small consulting business to a worldwide healthcare software provider. Under Ken's leadership, HAI was recognized as an Inc. 500 company three years in a row and was listed in the Top 100 software companies by Software magazine. Ken is also a co-owner of Oridium, LLC, a software venture management firm. Ken has served as CEO of Tradesafe.com, an innovative online payment processing firm serving Amazon.com, Lycos, eBay, Fleet Bank and over a hundred Internet auction sites. He has also held various management positions at National Medical Care, Protocare and Gulf & Western. Ken received a B.S.B.A. from Bryant College and an MBA from Babson College. In 1989, he was a Winner of the Douglas Entrepreneurial Prize at Babson College and in 1994 he was a Finalist for the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Ken is also actively involved in The Tomorrow Fund, a local charity for children with cancer and has most recently served as co-chair for its largest annual fundraising event. |
