Ken Nixon Vice President of Operations Ken Nixon has responsibility for the operational functions within BearCom, including fulfillment, materials management, customer service, and rental operations. Ken joined BearCom in 1999 as Operations Manager for several emerging businesses and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2000. Prior to joining BearCom, Ken spent several years at CellStar, a global supplier of cellular handsets and accessories. During his time there, Ken focused on improving operational efficiencies and inventory management processes as the company went through unprecedented growth. At the time of his departure from CellStar, Ken was Director of Operations for the Americas. From 1979 to 1996, Ken held progressively more responsible logistical and operational management positions at Texas Instruments, focusing on international logistics and distribution operations. He sat on various committees that addressed the strategic development of global distribution and logistics within the company. In addition, Ken spoke frequently at various educational symposiums and industry events on the dynamics that impacted global supply chains. Ken holds a BS degree in transportation and logistics from the University of Tennessee. |
