Ken Nicolas joined McCauley, Nicolas & Company, LLC in 1968 and was admitted as a Member in 1975. He has over 35 years experience in public accounting, beginning with McGrain and McGrain CPAs, and then with Philip McCauley as McCauley, Nicolas & Company. He is a former Managing Partner and currently serves on the firm's Information Technology Committee.Industry ExperienceKen concentrates in all areas of accounting, tax and financial matters and works closely with the firm's Small Business Department. He has considerable experience with cost segregation and has been published in the local media regarding the benefits of this method.Education Ken holds a B.A. in Accounting from Bellarmine College (now Bellarmine University), 1966, and is licensed to practice as a CPA in Indiana. In addition, he is a graduate of Leadership Southern Indiana.Professional and Community Activities Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Kentucky Society of CPAs.Ken is involved in many civic and community support organizations and serves on the Boards of St. Elizabeth's Maternity Center, Family Service Bureau, and the Interfaith Community Council. He is active in the Small Business Development Center of the Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the New Albany Rotary, and St. Mary's Church, particularly its summer festival. |
