Ken Jenkins joined ISS Retail in January 1997 as President and led it's growth into a multi-million dollar revenue company. One of the primary responsibilities as president is championing the company's message to the retail industry. Jenkins actively provides consulting expertise to CIOs and MIS directors regarding strategic decisions involving new technology directions. Jenkins brings 22 years of experience to the retail industry beginning with his career as a programmer with IBM's retail industry group after graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in Computer Science. While with IBM, he was a member of a special projects team focused on providing fully customized solutions to large retail accounts. In October 1983, four months after its inception, Jenkins joined Post Software International (PSI) in Wake Forest, N.C., as an owner and software developer. His career evolved from software programming to management. Key positions held at PSI by Jenkins included Director of Research and Development, Director of Marketing (Canadian Business Unit) as well as Director of Strategic Accounts. Jenkins' was actively involved in several major retail implementations. |
