Mr. Hanover has a distinguished 30-year career in healthcare and is currently President and CEO of the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Health Alliance is an integrated health care system comprised of The Christ Hospital, University Hospital, St Luke Hospitals, the Jewish Hospital and Fort Hamilton Hospital. He is responsible for the organization and strategic development of the Alliance and for the financial and operational performance of the system. The Alliance employs approximately 12,000 FTEs and has an operating budget in excess of $1.2 billion. Prior to the Health Alliance, Mr. Hanover held positions as: President and CEO of Main Line Health System, consisting of three acute care hospitals, an acute rehabilitation hospital, a home healthcare company and a physician acquisition and management company; and President and CEO of The Bryn Mawr Hospital and The Lankenau Hospital. Mr. Hanover’s earlier career focused on hospital operations, corporate planning and marketing as Senior Vice President of Main Line Health, a four-hospital heath care system, Chief Operating Officer of HealthLink of Portland, a multi-institutional health care system comprised of four hospitals, a home health care agency, a PPO, a durable medical equipment company and an HMO; Senior Vice President, Marketing, Managed Care and Corporate Planning of HealthLink and Vice President, Health Policy and Regulation of the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hanover holds a Master of Public Administration Degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts. |
