Ken has 29 years of Geophysical experience in the oil industry gained after graduating from the University of Texas, El Paso with a B. Sc in Geology. Ken possesses highly developed skills in seismic operations gained as a marine Q.C. in Brazil, supervising onshore vibroseis operations in Egypt and the USA and planning through post audit control of remote onshore jungle operations. Ken has been interpreting 3D seismic data since 1980 with GSI and interpreted Phillips Petroleum Co.’s first ever 3D seismic survey over Mississippi Canyon 198 in 1981. Ken worked for Conoco mostly overseas in Norway, Egypt, Indonesia and the USA where he continued to advance his 2D and 3D interpretation techniques and served as Chief Geophysicist in two overseas offices. Most recently he worked for Apache Corp where he served as Manager of Geophysics in Egypt and was the leader of Apache’s worldwide Geophysical Interpretation Technology Team. |
