Ken Daniels begins his 10th season as the Red Wings' television play-by-play announcer for local broadcasts on FSN Detroit and FOX 2.
Prior to arriving in Detroit, Daniels worked at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where he covered the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Stanley Cup playoffs for Hockey Night in Canada.
While at the CBC, Daniels covered an ecliptic group of sporting events, hosting CBC Sports Weekend and the Indy Car World Series, as well as covering Formula One Grand Prix and Toronto Blue Jays baseball. He's also broadcast from two Olympics (1988 Seoul and 1996 Atlanta), where he covered cycling, baseball, canoeing, kayaking, tennis and judo.
