Joining Reach Out and Read in 2001, Kelly Taranto works in the Department of Institutional Advancement and manages all of ROR National's events, including Read and Romp, Read Romp + Rock, and Capitol Hill Day. She manages ROR's grassroots activities related to our federal funding, including legislative site visits. Kelly also assists ROR statewide and regional coalitions with their fundraising and advocacy efforts. Kelly has worked in grassroots management for more than 7 years. Prior to ROR, she worked in Washington, DC for several nonprofit organizations, including the National Recreation and Park Association and the Alliance to Save Energy. Kelly holds a Bachelor's in Public Policy and English from Juniata College. |
