Kelly Barrett senior vice president - Enterprise Program Management is responsible for instituting and executing common processes by which all technology and business programs and projects are planned managed tracked and reported. Her team is responsible for facilitating cross-functional work streams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of business transformation initiatives.
Kelly joined The Home Depot in 2003 as vice president corporate controller. In this role she was responsible for all of the Company’s internal and external financial reporting including its filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as the Company’s financial controls and financial systems. In October 2005 she was named vice president Internal Audit before assuming her current role in 2007.
Prior to joining The Home Depot Kelly served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Cousins Properties Incorporated where she enjoyed a very successful career for more than 10 years. Before joining Cousins she was an audit manager in the Atlanta office of Arthur Andersen where she worked for seven years.
Kelly graduated from Georgia Tech in 1986 with highest honors and first in her class earning a Bachelor of Science in industrial management. She is a certified public accountant. In April 2006 she was inducted into the Georgia Tech College of Management’s Council of Outstanding Young Alumni which recognizes alumni for their career achievements and contributions to Georgia Tech and society.
She serves on the board of the YMCA Metro Atlanta including the Executive Committee and Audit Committee. Kelly also serves on The Home Depot’s Political Action Committee Board as the assistant treasurer. |
