Kelly S. Walters, Vice President - Regulatory and General Services, was elected to her current position May 1, 2006. She had served as General Manager Regulatory and General Services since April 2005. Prior to that, she was Director of Planning and Regulatory Services. Before to returning to Empire in 2001, Walters worked as Director of Financial Services for Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. Formerly at Empire, she held the position of Director of Auditing.
A native of southwest Missouri, Ms. Walters holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pittsburg State University and a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.
Ms. Walters currently serves on the finance committee of the American Red Cross, Southwest Missouri Chapter, and is a former board member and treasurer of the Red Cross. Ms. Walters is a member of the Lion’s Club, and is a graduate of Leadership Missouri. |
