Ms. Walters is a member of the Employment Group, and her practice focuses on labor and employment issues. She has experience in Act 312 and Fact Finding Hearings, arbitration and MERC hearings, mediation, client interviews, negotiations and employment and other civil litigation.
While in law school, Ms. Walters was an executive law review board member, and she was a law clerk with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office and a research assistant for Professor Lee Goldman of UDM School of Law. She also interned with the Honorable Maura D. Corrigan in the Michigan Supreme Court and was a law intern with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Prior to graduation, Ms. Walters was a law clerk with Kmart Corporation, where she researched and wrote memoranda and position statements.
Upon graduation, she was an associate at a local law firm specializing in public sector labor and employment law.
