Dr. Keith Wood joined Amarin in December 2007. Dr. Wood has 30 years extensive clinical research and drug development experience gained from an academic research position and latterly from collaborations of his own clinical research consultancy with several major pharmaceutical companies. He has specialised in psychiatric and CNS drug development programmes. From a more technical perspective he has acted as a senior consultant re-engineering strategic company processes. In the last five years he has collaborated in the formation and management of a global medical affairs programme which was run as a virtual matrix of outsourced niche providers. Latterly he was responsible for setting up the drug development department of an emergent speciality CNS pharmaceutical company as Director of Drug Development. |
