Keith Peterson is vice president, mergers and acquisitions, a position he has held since December, 2006. He is responsible for the company's capital structure and acquisitions financing. Peterson served as vice president, chief financial officer from May, 2002 to December, 2006. He joined Agriliance in September, 2001, as interim chief financial officer from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Keith has over 30 years of experience in finance and consulting, including the audit practice of then- Price Waterhouse. During that time, he supervised the audits of many multi-national firms, participated in an SEC mandated peer review of another international public accounting firm, and conducted a dozen acquisition reviews.
He began his career at Cytrol, a software consulting firm, where he served as chief financial officer, and later as that company’s chief executive officer. Upon becoming chief executive officer of Cytrol, he led a management buyout and resurrection of an organization that was struggling to regain its footing after severe market reversals. Because of the successful revival of Cytrol, it became an attractive acquisition candidate and was purchased by Price Waterhouse, a predecessor of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Keith earned his undergraduate degree in his home state of South Dakota. He also holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. |
