Mr. Mulcahy has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, having served a long, distinguished career with the New York City Police Department (NYPD). He spent 9 of his 20 years in the Detective Bureau, and his final assignment was as a Bomb Technician Investigator of the NYPD Bomb Squad. He received certification from the FBI (Hazardous Devices School), ATF (Post Blast Investigator), and NYPD (Explosive Detection Canine Handler). As a Detective Investigator of the NYPD Bomb Squad he was involved in numerous investigations including the World Trade Center bombing and TWA Flight 800. Mr. Mulcahy has been involved in developing training courses for Bomb Technicians as well as security procedures to reduce vulnerability to terrorist attacks. |
