As Managing Partner of International Services, Keith Martindale spends the majority of his time representing large Corporations on their Real Estate portfolios throughout Europe. Keith currently handles transactions throughout Europe and Asia. Mohr Partners International has well-experienced International offices that assist Keith in his representation of any client that may have a transaction in any country throughout the world. Keith qualified in 1972 as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He has worked for many years in advising manufacturing and service industries throughout the United Kingdom and Europe and has considerable experience in both real estate and construction services. Keith qualified at the University of Northumbria and spent 5 years in the development team of MEPC, the largest international property company in the United Kingdom, where he was responsible for the management of a substantial commercial and industrial development programme. After a number of years as equity partner with Sanderson Townend and Gilbert, a family run partnership and one of the largest industrial practices in North East England, Keith was approached for a major new challenge. In 1983 he joined a National firm of chartered surveyors, which subsequently became the UK member of Colliers International with 9 offices and 120 staff. He was responsible for the establishment of Colliers offices throughout Europe. His principal client base remained in the industrial and commercial corporate sectors including the real estate interests of British Shipbuilders, the nationalised industry responsible for building all commercial and military shipping in the UK at that time and Rover Group, the automotive manufacturer. In 1990, Keith became a director of Edward Erdman, a large national real estate professional practice with 500 staff - subsequently being renamed Colliers Erdman Lewis. His responsibilities were to national and international groups involving the provision of a wide range of professional, agency and corporate consultancy services though the co-ordination of specialist teams, generally working as "Property Director" to many of those clients. The sectors covered were industry, public sector and banking. In 1994, Keith founded Martindale & Co., a dedicated provider of corporate real estate services to industrial and commercial occupiers throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Clients are generally either public companies or multi-nationals and the business operates effectively as the Property Department providing Board level strategic and consultancy advice wherever real estate is involved. A projects company, Martindale McAndrew, was also established in 1998 to provide complementary development and construction services to the industrial and distribution sectors. This company has worked on projects throughout the United Kingdom and Europe providing project management, project co-ordination, technical and value engineering services to a rapidly growing client base. |
