Keith Hawkins received a B Sc. Honours in Physics in 1968 from the University of London. He has worked in the industry since 1969, joining Veritas in 1999.
Since joining Veritas he has published and presented many papers on a wide variety of relevant geophysical technologies. These subjects include anisotropic prestack depth migration, pore pressure prediction and, the subject of his latest papers, 4D geomechanics. Many of these research issues have been closely linked to in-house projects primarily from the North Sea.
Prior to Veritas he was employed by PGS as Research Manager, by Conoco UK in the capacity of Area Geophysicist and by Geophysical Services International as an Area Geophysicist.
Keith is a member of the SEG, EAGE and PESGB.
