Keith W. Eckel has been a director of the Company, Nationwide Life Insurance Company and Nationwide Life and Annuity Insurance Company since May 2004. He has been a director of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Company since 1996 and Nationwide Corporation since 1998. Mr. Eckel served as the Chairman of the Board of Allied Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, from May 1999 to May 2004. He is a partner of Fred W. Eckel Sons, a vegetable farming operation, and president of Eckel Farms, Inc. in northeast Pennsylvania. |
