Keith R. Tandowsky was named vice president - Internal Audit in 2005. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company's Internal Audit function, which monitors and evaluates processes for operational effectiveness, efficiency, compliance and financial reporting. In addition, Tandowsky provides counsel on corporate governance matters.
Previously, Tandowsky served as chief information officer since 2001. In that position, he managed the company's business process initiative, in addition to the Information Services function.
Tandowsky began his career with Clorox in 1981 as a staff accountant in the Household Products Division. He subsequently advanced through the Finance organization. He was named director of Corporate Finance, Treasury in 1992 and director of Finance for the Kingsford® Products Division in 1994. He was later promoted to director of account management, Information Services prior to being named vice president of that function in 1998.
Tandowsky received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and later received his master's degree in business administration in finance and general management from the same school. He serves on the Board of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area. |
