J. Keith Beavers is the Northrop Grumman Corporate Lead Executive (CLE) for the U.S. Joint Forces Command, and division director of operations for the Information and Technical Solutions Division (I&TSD).
As CLE, Mr. Beavers oversees and coordinates all of Northrop Grumman’s activities in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command. Before joining Northrop Grumman , Mr. Beavers was TRW’s senior executive for the Hampton Roads area.
Prior to moving to Hampton Roads in 1999, Mr. Beavers was the southwest operations manager for TRW based in Albuquerque, N.M. He joined TRW in 1991 as a systems analyst and was rapidly promoted to program and site manager before his 1995 promotion to operations manager. While working as the southwest operations manager, he had sole responsibility for acquisition and performance on all of TRW’s programs in New Mexico and much of the southwest. During this period, he tripled TRW’s regional sales with major contracts that included the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Joint Theater Missile Defense, the Army’s Communications-Electronics Command, and the Air Force Operational Test Center.
Mr. Beavers is a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His distinguished military career included serving as a decorated F-100 fighter pilot in Vietnam, as well as in various acquisition, test and evaluation assignments. Major acquisition program involvement was in the Maverick air-to-ground missile, AMMRAAM air-to-air missile and the B2 bomber.
Mr. Beavers is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, as well as the Air War College and the USAF Fighter Weapons School. While in the Air Force, he served at Squadron, Wing and Command levels.
