Keith E. Alessi has been a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of H&E LLC since November 2002. Mr. Alessi has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (and owner) of Lifestyles Improvement Centers LLC since February 2003. Mr. Alessi has also been an Adjunct Professor of Law at The Washington and Lee University School of Law since 1999 and Adjunct Professor at The University of Michigan Graduate School of Business Administration since 2001. He is a director and the chairman of the audit committees for Town Sports International, Inc., MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. and O'Sullivan Industries LLC. Mr. Alessi was previously Chairman and CEO of Telespectrum Worldwide, Inc. from April 1998 to February 2000 and Jackson Hewitt, Inc. from May 1996 to April 1998.
