Mr. Johnson is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Clayton Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining Clayton in May 2006, Mr. Johnson was President and Chief Executive Officer of Washington Mutual's (NYSE:WM) Long Beach Mortgage, one of the nation's largest subprime lenders. Before being named CEO at Long Beach, Mr. Johnson was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Washington Mutual's Commercial Group, overseeing the multifamily, commercial real estate, mortgage banking and home building businesses. Mr. Johnson joined Washington Mutual following its acquisition of Bank United, where he held several senior executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer of its mortgage division.
