Current responsibility
Keith is a principal and consulting actuary with the Indianapolis office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1998.
Experience
Keith has designed and priced many term life, universal life, whole life, and annuity products. These products included secondary guarantees, return of premium riders, and long-term care riders. Keith has also assisted in many appraisals of life and annuity blocks of business and securitizations, completed cash-flow testing and other year-end financial work, and modeled life settlement funds and LILACs.
Keith has also worked with life insurance and annuity products in the Section 419 and 412(i) market place. He has been actively involved in principles-based reserves.
Prior to joining Milliman, Keith was chief actuary for American States Life Insurance Company. His responsibilities included pricing UL, term, whole life, annuity, and DI products; financial reporting for statutory, tax, and GAAP reserves; and cash-flow testing. He also had responsibility for reinsurance treaties and experience studies.
