Description of Practice:
Kecia Felton is an associate based in our San Diego office, where she provides critical associate-level support to the real estate and land use practice groups. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Ms. Felton practiced corporate law with the San Diego office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
Ms. Felton is admitted to the State Bar of California, and is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Educational History:
Ms. Felton received her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in 2002. In 2006, she received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law, where she was Executive Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal, Senior Articles Editor of the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy and Co-President of the Law Students of African Descent. While at Boalt Hall, Ms. Felton also was awarded the Ralph Eltse Memorial Scholarship and the Michael J. Halloran Scholarship. |
