Kazuhiro Hishinuma was named Vice President of Engineering for FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. in December 2006. He is responsible for all software development efforts for imaging and information products at FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA - including its Synapse® PACS - to meet the needs of customers both in the US and globally.
Hishinuma has held various positions of increasing management responsibility in the areas of engineering, marketing and operations since joining Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., Tokyo (now known as FUJIFILM Corporation) in 1981. He began his career as a Research and Development engineer in Fujifilm's technology development center. Subsequently he spent nearly 15 years in Fujifilm's Equipment Products Division where his responsibilities included planning for the company's leading line of Fuji Computed Radiography (FCR) products, as well as product training for all of Fujifilm's subsidiaries. From 2003 - 2005 he served as Operations Manager, International Marketing Group, Medical Systems Business Division, leading the company's successful international marketing efforts for FCR and Synapse.
Prior to his appointment as Vice President he served as Director of Engineering for FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA.
Hishinuma received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from Keio University in Japan. |
