A Midwesterner, Kay attended Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. She worked for several companies, including Sylvania Electric, Hy-Vee Food Stores, Monsanto and Stanley Consultants. In 1978, Kay became the research director for the Des Moines, Iowa office of a national search firm. Five years later, she and Dwaine Francis created Francis & Associates. |
