Kay Curling oversees SI International’s human resources (HR) compensation, benefits and HRIS functions. Curling joins SI International with over 20 years of experience in HR leadership positions at SRA International, Inc. In her most recent position as Director of Employee Benefits, Health & Wellness and Community Service at SRA, she managed a multi-disciplinary function providing services to employees across the world.
Curling’s focus at SRA included the design and development of several key programs and processes that were instrumental in SRA being named to FORTUNE Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list for 9 consecutive years as well as several other national and local awards.
Curling is a recognized national expert in the field of employee benefits and corporate philanthropy and volunteer program. She was recognized in 2000 by Employee Benefit News as the Benefits Professional of the Year. In 2003 she was recognized by Workforce Magazine for Innovation in Human Resources. In 2004 Employee Benefit News recognized Curling along with her team with the People First Award. Marymount University and the Washington Business Journal recognized Curling and the SRA Community Action, Response, and Education Services (CARES) Committee with the 2007 Human Resource Leadership Award for Community Service. She was recognized by Charities@Work with the 2007 Trailblazer Award for leading SRA’s volunteer and charitable giving programs.
She is a frequent guest lecturer and speaker at national and local Human Resources and Benefits conferences. Curling is an active Board Member of Military Communities Youth Ministries. She serves on the Advisory Board of Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute and the Editorial Advisory Board of Employee Benefit News. She maintains an active insurance agent and consultant license in the State of Virginia. |
