Katy specializes in environmental and transparency research, with a focus on climate change, environmental management and sustainability reporting. She also manages a portfolio of companies in the energy, chemical, mining, and timber industries. Katy sits on the index committee for KLD’s Global Climate 100 Index, participates in working groups for Ceres and partners with the Social Investment Research Analysts Network (SIRAN) to lead the update of its annual sustainability reporting research.
Prior to joining KLD, Katy worked for a management consultancy specializing in environmental health and safety. In this role, she implemented and audited environmental management systems in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Katy has also worked in environmental affairs at Staples, Inc. and handled accountability and sustainable governance projects for Ceres. Previously, she held roles in advocacy and education at the Massachusetts Audubon Society.
Katy holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation and Wildlife Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a candidate for a Master of Arts in Environmental Policy and Planning with a focus on corporate social responsibility from Tufts University. |
