As marketing director, Katharine (Katie) A. Tolin handles marketing, business development, and public relations for Rea & Associates. Under her direction, the firm has been awarded three separate Association for Accounting Marketing Marketing Achievement Awards. Katie joined the Rea team in 2003. Her previous experience includes five years as a marketing coordinator for Canton-based law firm where she led an entire re-branding project. In addition, she had internships with a western Ohio gas company, the Massachusetts office the 2006 presidential campaign and the campaign office of a former Massachusetts State Treasurer. Ms. Tolin graduated with distinction from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in management and communication arts public relations. In addition, she holds a Master of Arts degree in political communications from Emerson College in Boston. She is a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing where she crrently serves on the board of directors and was previously chairperson of the communications committee. She is also chair-elect of the marketing committee of Moore Stephens North America. She is very active in Junior Achievement of East Central Ohio currently serving on the Community Awareness committee and occasionally volunteering as a classroom instructor. In addition, she is a forensic judge for high school speech tournaments. Ms. Tolin lives in Canton, Ohio, and enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her three pugs, Pugsly, Belle and Minnie, and her miniature bulldog, Kenzie. |
