Kathy Meunier has been employed at Taconic since April, 1999. She is responsible for providing information on Taconic’s products and services to clients in over 75 institutions. Kathy graduated from University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. She has worked in the Lab Animal Science industry for over 20 years. Her previous job experiences include both academic institutions and contract research facilities. Kathy’s extensive and varied background enables her to assist customers on many levels, from choosing which immunodeficient mouse may be best for their studies to assisting in putting together their Research Animal Service (RAS) or Special Breeding Services (SBS) project. Kathy is LATG certified and a member of National AALAS, New England Branch AALAS, Southern New England Branch AALAS and is currently the Education Co chairperson for the New England Branch of AALAS. She is very active in local AALAS Certification Training Programs as an instructor and coordinator. She looks forward to those opportunities to be in front of a class and to share the knowledge and experience she has gained from her many years in the field.
