Kathy has over 20 years of accounting and financial services experience, including spending the past 12 years in venture capital. Prior to joining Horizon, Kathy was Director of Financial Accounting at Connecticut Innovations, a State of Connecticut venture capital fund, where she was primarily responsible for the preparation of periodic reporting of the organization's financial position, planning, designing and implementing of accounting procedures and systems, and budget preparation and analysis. Kathy's previous experience includes tenures with Aetna Life and Casualty as an Accountant and Price Waterhouse as Staff Auditor. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and a special Baccalaureate, Accounting from Sacred Heart University. |
