As vice president North America, Kathy Fitzpatrick is responsible for defining the strategy and directing specific initiatives for increasing the company's share of the North American traditional market. Prior to her current post, Fitzpatrick served as vice president Sales and Development of Business Technology Solutions for Worldspan Associates organization where she had worldwide responsibility for car, hotel, ferry, rail and cruise suppliers' technology and distribution needs. Other positions held by Fitzpatrick include vice president Worldwide Customer Service Delivery, where she was responsible for service delivery operations, logistics, technical services, training, network provisioning and help desk support across all company business units globally; and director of Technical Services and Logistics where she had responsibility for those operations globally. Fitzpatrick joined Worldspan in March 2000 after a long tenure with Galileo International, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Logistics for the Americas. In this post, she was responsible for logistics and vendor management within the United States, Canada and Latin America, as well as Galileo’s maintenance and installation activities in Canada and Latin America. Prior to her career in travel technology, Fitzpatrick held financial management positions with Mesirow & Company and Burton J. Vincent, Chesley & Company. Fitzpatrick holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Finance and Accounting from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago. A native of Chicago, Fitzpatrick today resides in Atlanta. |
