Kathryn is responsible for providing the strategic leadership and integration between our rail operations, information technology and strategic sourcing groups. She will advance our long term strategy on Integrated Operating Plan and the assessment of emerging technologies to improve safety, productivity and capacity.
Kathryn joins us from Norfolk Southern Corporation and brings more than 26 years of experience in key leadership positions including her most recent as Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer. While at NS she was involved in major change initiatives including the development and implementation of their current Thoroughbred Operating Plan and various quality and "best practices" programs. She also worked closely on operational issues and network opportunities with all the major and regional railroads and shortlines.
Kathryn is a member of our Management Committee and chairs the Operating Committee.
