Specialty: Radiation Oncology Professional Education Dr. Farniok graduated with a medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1983. She completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Minnesota Hospital in 1990. She has held two faculty appointments at the University of Minnesota Medical School: first, as an assistant professsor in Radiation Oncology from July of 1990 through July of 2002; then, as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology from August 2002 to the present.Certifications Dr. Farniok holds board certification in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology, and in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.Membership Dr. Farniok is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Radiological Society of North America, and the American College of Radiation Oncology.Personal Dr. Farniok lives in the east metro area with her husband, Eric, their two teenage sons, and a devoted golden retriever.
