Kathy Marinello was named president and chief executive officer of Ceridian Corporation on Oct. 9 2006. Prior to joining Ceridian Kathy was president and chief executive officer of multiple large GE businesses including Fleet Services Consumer Financial Services Auto & Home Insurance and the GE Financial Network.
Before joining GE Kathy was president of the Electronic Payments Group at First Data Corporation providing electronic banking and commerce debit and commercial processing to the financial services industry. Before this role she served as president of U.S. Bank Card Services a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank. She also worked at Chemical Bank leading their marketing information service and financial department and at Citibank and Barclays as controller.
In addition Kathy serves on the executive committee of the Minnesota Business Partnership serves on the board of directors for the Greater Twin Cities United Way and she is a member of The Business Roundtable.
Kathy holds a B.A. from the University at Albany State University of New York and an M.B.A. in marketing from Hofstra University New York. As an undergraduate she also participated in an exchange program at the University of Lund International Swedish University. |
