As Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Ferris directs all areas of the human resources department including recruiting and staffing, workforce development, employee relations, organization development and change management, benefits administration, and compensation. She participates in the annual strategic planning process and is responsible for short and long-term goals for building and deploying an effective workforce. Ms. Ferris is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has extensive experience in developing and implementing strategies linking people to business goals.
Before joining McDonald Bradley in July 2004, Ms. Ferris spent eight years at American Management Systems (AMS), Inc. At AMS she was the Human Resources Strategic Business Partner for the Public Sector Group where she was responsible for developing and driving the people agenda in support of the business strategy for a $650 million business unit. Prior to AMS, Ms. Ferris held various HR positions at Northern Telecom, Computer Based Systems, Inc. (CBSI), and BDM Federal. Ms. Ferris received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland and her Master’s degree in Management for Organizational Effectiveness from Marymount University. |
