Kathie Ross is executive vice president and chief administrative officer, overseeing the company’s organization effectiveness, corporate and marketing communications, project management and corporate real-estate functions. Kathie joined the company in July 1991.
Before joining Arbitron, Kathie was the vice president of Organization Development and Corporate Communication for Chevy Chase Bank. Prior to that, she held the position of director, Human Resources and Planning for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, an association of consumer-owned electrical utilities. Kathie began her career at the Student Loan Marketing Association as a human resource manager.
Kathie is vice-chair of the board of Culpepper Garden, a facility providing both independent and assisted living to low-income seniors, and serves on the boards of American Women in Radio and Television, the Human Resource Planning Society, and Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.
Kathie holds a B.S. degree in psychology from Abilene Christian University, an M.S. degree in human resource management from American University, and a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and development from the School of Business and Public Management of The George Washington University, where she serves as adjunct faculty. |
