Kathy Evers is the Managing Director in charge of Assured Guaranty Corp.’s Public Finance Group. Ms. Evers joined Assured Guaranty in September 2003. She has more than 20 years experience in public finance and government-related positions.
Prior to Assured Guaranty, Ms. Evers worked at Merrill Lynch in their fixed income research group. Ms. Evers was a senior analyst at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC) on their public finance underwriting team. Ms. Evers was trained as a public finance analyst at Moody’s Investors Services, and her work experience there included a wide range of local government transactions. Prior to joining Moody’s in 1990, Ms. Evers held planning and finance-related positions with the State of North Carolina, New Jersey Transit Rail Operations, and the Long Island Rail Road.
Kathy Evers is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
