Kathie assists ThinkFire’s clients with worldwide patent licensing, identification and management of technology transfer programs, and planning and execution of divestitures.



Kathie formerly served as a licensing executive for IBM, where she was responsible for the licensing of information systems-related intellectual property. She managed transactions ranging in size from under $10 million for small patent licenses to very large, complex transactions of over $100 million that involved technology transfer, patent licenses, copyright licenses and OEM arrangements. Due to her software background, Kathie was also instrumental in managing the intellectual property elements of IBM’s largest network divestiture.



Kathie has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
