Katherine Chung is an Associate in the Corporate Private Equity group and is based in New York. Since joining Blackstone in 2005, Ms. Chung has been involved in Blackstone’s investments in Aspen Insurance, Ariel Re, HealthMarkets, Montecito Broadcast Group and Gold Toe-Moretz. Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Chung worked as an Associate at Capital Z Partners, where she was involved with the analysis and execution of private equity investments in the financial services sector. Prior to that, Ms. Chung worked in the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Chung received a BA in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University where she graduated with General and Departmental Honors, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where she was selected as a Joseph Wharton Fellow. |
