Senior Vice President of Antibody Discovery and President of Alexion Antibody Technologies
Dr. Bowdish has been the Senior Vice President, Antibody Discovery, and President of our wholly-owned subsidiary, Alexion Antibody Technologies, since the September 2001, Vice President, Antibody Discovery, and President of Alexion Antibody Technologies from 2000 to 2001. She was previously founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer of Prolifaron, Inc., a San Diego, CA-based antibody engineering company. Under Dr. Bowdish's, leadership, Prolifaron emerged as an innovative leader in the generation of combinatorial human antibody libraries. Dr. Bowdish previously held positions at The Scripps Research Institute, Monsanto, and Rockefeller University. Dr. Bowdish has received several academic honors and awards and has an extensive publication and patent portfolio largely focused in the area of molecular immunology. Dr. Bowdish received her Ph.D. in molecular genetics from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and has 19 years of experience in biotechnology research and development. |
