Experience
Katherine joined Pierce Atwood's Intellectual Property group in 2006. Her practice focuses on drafting mechancial, electrical and software patent applications.
Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Katherine was a contract attorney at Edwards & Angell, LLP, a Boston firm specializing in patent law.
Ms. Wrobel's industry experience includes working as an engineer for Teradyne Connections Systems, a world leader in manufacturing circuits and printed circuit boards. She also served as a lead technical writer at SigmaTel, Inc., a semiconductor company in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Ms. Wrobel also holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Cornell University.

Katherine received a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University (1998) and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School (2003).
Professional Activities
Katherine is an active professional member in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Ms. Wrobel is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
