Dr. Szocsik has an extensive track record in clinical development and regulatory affairs, over twelve years of which was at Sandoz (Hungary) Ltd. where she was Director of Clinical Development, and at Novartis (Hungary) Ltd. where she held the position of Clinical Research Director. Dr. Szocsik gained additional breadth of experience as a consultant to many small and mid-size pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Szocsik's primary activities at Sandoz Pharma AG was organizing clinical trials and marketing support. She planned and conducted clinical trials, and participated in international clinical trials. Following the merger of Ciba and Sandoz, as Clinical Research Director at Novartis Hungaria Kft she was responsible for clinical trials and clinical development in Hungary.
Prior to her employment at Sandoz and Novartis, she was the Head of the Clinical Department at Chinoin Pharmaceutical Works, Budapest where she was involved in organizing and conducting multi-center (multinational) clinical trials. Dr. Szocsik has research experience in clinical and experimental immunology and in clinical pharmacology. |
