Kat West leads Sterling Planet s outreach program in the Connecticut and Massachusetts markets. A 2007 graduate of Trinity College, Kat was a successful environmental activist for the campus, raising thousands of dollars for the purchase of wind RECs and outdoor recycling bins. For these achievements, Kat was awarded Trinity's 2007 Student Government Association award, an award given to the student considered the strongest contributor to the betterment of the college during the 2006-2007 year. Kat also organized large-scale community service events, including a one-day service project called "Do It Day" that involved more than 600 volunteers and earned her two service awards, one from the Connecticut Department of Higher Education and a second (the Alexander A. Goldfarb Award) from the city of Hartford.
